Bram Adams is a former PhD student from Brussels and Ghent who pursued a career as a post-doc in Kingston, Canada in one of the prominent research groups on Mining Software Repositories. He recently became an assistant professor at the École Polytechnique de Montréal (also in Canada) where he leads his own research group.

Bram investigated several topics which are quite relevant for the CHAQ-project. In no particular order

    • Continuous deployment (observing release practices within projects such as Mozilla and Firefox)
    • Release Engineering (observing build systems in projects such as Linux, gcc, git, postfressSQL)
    • Bug triaging (observing which bugs get reopened in projects such as Eclipse, Apache, Openoffice)
