Due to the low number of submissions, this year's edition of the workshop has been cancelled.

Like last year, the workshop proceedings will be published in the ACM digital library.



We are pleased to announce that DO21 2010 will host a Keynote speech by Mark S. Miller titled Mobile Objects in Secure Javascript.

Speaker Bio: Mark Miller is a research scientist at Google working on Caja, open source coordinator for the E secure distributed programming language, co-creator of the agoric paradigm of market-based computing, and an architect of the Xanadu hypertext publishing system. He is also a member of the ECMAScript standards commitee.


Distributed Objects for the 21st Century (DO21) is an international workshop on object-oriented distributed computing. The second edition of the workshop series is co-located with the 24th European Conference on Object-Oriented Programming in Maribor, Slovenia. The workshop will take place June 22, 2010, immediately preceding the main conference.

The goal of this workshop is to provide a progressive and open-minded forum at ECOOP dedicated to the future of distributed object technology.
