MobiCraNT User Committee Workshop

On February 8, 2012, a MobiCraNT user committee workshop was held at the Vrije Universiteit Brussels. This workshop was intended at technology transfer between the project and companies of the Brussels region. We started the workshop with a presentation of the goals of the MobiCraNT research project and its current status. Then, a round-table was organised between the companies and researchers, around a set of six technical topics related to mobile applications.

MobiCraNT Lecture Series on Web Security

On October 6-7, the Software Languages Lab and the Web and Information Systems Lab host a lecture series on Web Security by Google Research Scientist Mark S. Miller. The lecture series consists of two talks, one targeted at an industrial audience, another targeted at a research audience. Attendance to both talks is free, but registration is required. Read more

How to get there

During the kick-off meeting, both promotors will provide a bird's eye overview of the research plan of the project, as well as opportunities for the members of the steering committee to get involved.

Members of the steering committee are invited to present their perspective on the use of mobile/cross-media applications, to ground the research being performed.
