Licensing Agreement
-------------------

The source code and the examples in the installation files
are licensed to the developer who has been registered as
an ApplFLab user (through the registration page on WWW,
see below). The licensed developer is free to integrate
any of the source code into his or her own applications
and distribute those applications in a closed, runtime
image. The licensed developer may not reproduce or distribute
the source code or the examples, in either their current
form or any modified form.

The license granted is limited and is not a commercial use license.
Under no circumstance shall the Programming Technology Lab,
its directors, or its employees be liable for any direct,
indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages (including
damages for loss of business profits, business interruption,
loss of business information and the like) arising out of
any use or inability to use the software or its documentation.

ApplFLab installation
---------------------

1. Put the directory "ApplFLab_Install_1.1" on your hard disk.

2. Open a VisualWorks 2.5 image. Be sure that the drag&drop
extensions are in your image. (If not, file in the file
"tooldd.st" from the VisualWorks 2.5 distribution disks.)

3. File-in the file "ApplFLabInstaller.st" with the
File List tool.

4. Two windows will appear on screen: the ApplFLab Launcher
and the ApplFLab Installer. The ApplFLab Installer gives a
short introduction to this version of ApplFLab. It is
recommended that you read it.
The ApplFLab Installer can be used:
	- to perform additional installations,
	- to remove ApplFLab from your image,
	- to file out classes and categories.

5. Each file in the "Additional_Installations" directory
corresponds with an additional installation. Go to the
"Install" page of the ApplFLab Installer's notebook and
press the install button. You will be asked to select a
file for an additional installation. (In fact, you can
use this feature for any Smalltalk file.)

6. If you have accidently closed the ApplFLab Installer
and you need it later, open it via the "Tools" menu
in the ApplFLab Launcher.
