The system runs Windows 2000 + Apache 2.0.50 + PHP 4.3.8. I have both the mod_rewrite loaded in Apache and enabled on local.php. The .htaccess is the default one, without comments on the mod_rewrite lines. Still, doesn't work. Anyone can help out? Thanks. -- 2004.10.01. > Hmm okay... it seems there are some differences between Apache 1.3.x (which is what I use) and Apache 2 regarding mod_rewrite. I'll try to get the hands on my girlfriends laptop which runs Apache 2 on Windows XP ;-). --- [[andi@splitbrain.org|Andi]] > Okay... after occupying my girlfriend's laptop for quite some time I found the problem: colons which are used as namespace seperator are not allowed in pathnames on Windows. Unfortunately some security setting in Apache kicks in before the mod_rewrite module is executed :-/. > > In the next release DokuWiki will use the slash as namespace seperator on Windows hosted systems. You still can use the colon in your text but all generated links will use a slash instead. --- [[andi@splitbrain.org|Andi]] ===== Bogus Bugs ===== These bugs have been reported but are not real bugs. Anyway, they're being collected here for some time.
