==== mod_rewrite on Windows ====

I still can't figure out what's wrong with my DokuWiki deployment. The system runs Windows 2000 + Apache 2.0.50 + PHP 4.3.8. I have both the mod_rewrite loaded in Apache and enabled on local.php. The .htaccess is the default one, without comments on the mod_rewrite lines. Still, doesn't work. Anyone can help out? Thanks. -- 2004.10.01.

> Okay... after occupying my girlfriend's laptop for quite some time I found the problem: colons which are used as namespace seperator are not allowed in pathnames on Windows. Unfortunately some security setting in Apache kicks in before the mod_rewrite module is executed :-/.
