 My research consists of investigating how applications can respond to dynamic changes in their environment. In particular, I have studied the changes that give rise to (non-functional) exceptions.
 I am currently investigating how an [[research:exceptions|ambient-oriented exception handling mechanism]] interacts with various other topics that are studied in the group including advanced referencing abstractions, transactional support and context-awareness.
