PrintTalk is a domain-specific programming language for designing 3D-printable objects. Instead of drawing them, designers describe 3D models in code, by gluing together simpler, parameterised shapes with constraints that help fill in parameter values. This brings software engineering principles such as abstraction, version control, and reuse to 3D design. PINT (PrintTalk for Industry) extends PrintTalk with the advanced features needed to design industrial 3D models, and validates it with industry through a proof of concept and market analysis.
