This joint R&D project (Visual Territorial Renewable Energy) explored the design of a language and visual environment for neurosymbolic programming, combining the strengths of subsymbolic AI (machine learning and deep learning) for data processing with symbolic AI (logic and rule-based programming) for reasoning, verification, and interpretation. The resulting prototype platform, VISTREE, enables the visual creation and integration of data from multiple sources, and its analysis with AI, for renewable energy planning.
