A fresh entity is an entity that is not a built in entity (see OWLEntity.isBuiltIn() and is not contained within the signature of the root ontology imports closure.

Enum Constant Detail

ALLOW

public static final FreshEntityPolicy ALLOW

Specifies that fresh entities are allowed when they are encountered in the signature of OWLObjects in queries to a reasoner.

DISALLOW

public static final FreshEntityPolicy DISALLOW

Specifies that fresh entities are not disallowed. When a fresh entity is encountered in the signature of an OWLObject that is used in a query to a reasoner an FreshEntitiesException will be thrown in the calling thread.

public static final FreshEntityPolicy[] values()

Returns an array containing the constants of this enum type, in the order they're declared. This method may be used to iterate over the constants as follows:

for(FreshEntityPolicy c : FreshEntityPolicy.values())
        System.out.println(c);

Returns:

an array containing the constants of this enum type, in the order they're declared

valueOf

public static FreshEntityPolicy valueOf(java.lang.String name)

Returns the enum constant of this type with the specified name. The string must match exactly an identifier used to declare an enum constant in this type. (Extraneous whitespace characters are not permitted.)

Parameters:

name - the name of the enum constant to be returned.

Returns:

the enum constant with the specified name

Throws:

java.lang.IllegalArgumentException - if this enum type has no constant with the specified name
